Aww, this is just so awesome. Ok I'm doing my best, (but failing) at trying not to cry at all the lovely posts about Kitty. What a journey you have had from when you started... and now to this beautiful day. Enjoy all the freedom from schedules and no more worrying about shots and how much is too much, how much is too little... those are things of the past. I can't tell you how happy I am that you and Kitty have done so well.

What a fortunate moment when you found the vet to advise you to look to FDMB and then to have Jill be nearby to guide you those first days. (And your fear of wet noodles ala' Jojo was pretty funny!) I'm so glad that all the pieces fell into place for you and KItty.

I may be a little emotional due to a fun evening with some fellow FDMB members and that huge Margarita they MADE me order (hahahaha!) But seriously, Kathy, I'm sending you many hugs and congratulations for your special day today! Yeah for Kitty and Kathy!

Kitty is OTJ! You did it! I remember when you first came to FDMB. I'm so glad you were able to turn things around. Kitty is so lucky to have you! Enjoy your time at the Falls.

We are hosting the kitties as late as they want to arrive and stay. Stu brought home-made pizza, and the niptinis and tunaritas are flowing! Kitty is very, very happy to celebrate with all of his Lantus Land friends. He depended on their meows and purrs all along!

I think I heard some glass breaking -- Kitty is throwing his empty Lantus vials into the fireplace!! It could get wild... party_cat

i just HAD to get over here today to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!
what a special day!
haha, i was just thinking if only we (jill and i) could have saved all the PM's we had back and forth titled "kathy/kitty..." and put them together in a book, a very thick book (like war and peace would have nothing on it) for you to read now, what an interesting read it would be. but really the book is there~ it's all in your SS. lot of tense chapters until the breakthrough, then just fun reading cause was obvious what the happy ending was gonna be.

ps. you know they do have noodles at the falls, like for illegal snackus (remember always kitty is a Diet Controlled Diabetic Cat, no diet, no control), or for not testing at least once every couple of weeks, or for not helping decorating the next just built condo at falls for next LL cat moving in, etc. just saying.... noodles, they are everywhere. forever. lololol. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I always knew you and Jill were looking out for us -- that you'd try to keep me from doing something stupid, and get me back on track if I did. Like having real LIVE guardian angels. Lucky Kitty, lucky me.

I'm glad YOU knew the eventual outcome, Jojo. I wasn't sure until, oh, three days ago!

I remember reading a little history of you and kitty many months ago,and knew what an incredible feat this was for the two of you. As I read what you wrote in here, it is only confirmation....miracles DO happen, AND inspiration is drawn on that for many other kitties in the future. I certainly hope both 'new' and 'old hands' have been able to read what you wrote. And I hope it gives them hope.

Kathy, I read your (and Kitty's) story and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you both. FDMB saved Scar's life too! Congratulations to Your whole family :smile: :lol:
 
Sorry I'm late to the party, was out of town, but hey, Kitty deserves a party that goes on for days!

Kitty is a special one, I think we all learned a lot from him and from you. You've worked so hard and you deserve this!
