Gotta love a party and while they are all wonderful celebrations, some I feel happier to see.
And this is one of them.

I remember when Johnny first showed up and I thought What a fine looking fellow THAT is!
Ok, ok, so he reminds me of my Oliver without the white.

Anyways, I wish you guys all the best at the falls, and Johnny... WELL DONE!!

Thanks for celebrating with us, everyone!!

We just home a little bit ago and the first thing we did was turn on the computer! Love the video, CD! So much fun to watch and see all the little fun stuff you added---Brian likes the mountain climbing photo best (that little carpeted thing was, at best, 2 feet tall) and I loved seeing my babe arriving by stork. That photo was taken the day I brought him home in 2001. :) You have a great sense of humor and are very talented.

And thanks for working the video in so beautfully! This was esp meaningful for us. In the couple of months before he was diagnosed, Johnny stopped jumping. He would request things to be tossed and just not jump. You could see the desire in his eyes, but he must have been just physically unable to...and we thought maybe it was age (silly beans!)...and were sad for him that his jumping days were likely over and for us, because we realized we had never videotaped him. These jumps were videotaped last weekend. Please consider them a personal thank you from Johnny to everyone here...we couldn't have helped him without you helping us!

When I found this board, I felt like a two-ton weight was lifted from me and I could finally stop for a minute and breathe and begin to trust that we could handle Johnny's diabetes. Everyone here provided something to us on this journey---whether through direct support or maybe through something useful I read in your condo that helped me learn more every day or through your own OTJ stories. You are all inspiring people and kitties. I've always felt that people who show kindness and respect to animals are about as high up on the social ladder as you can get.

Thanks, esp to Jill and Libby for their many dosing huddles, often in the wee hours, and creative strategies for getting Johnny to this point. So many others have been wonderful to us and helped us to find resources, etc. We're grateful to everyone, but I don't want to name more names for fear of missing any. Group hug!!! LL is the best!

I will definitely be around and cheering you on towards the Falls. (Anyone in Chicago need a vial of insulin that's missing 12 drops??)

Donovan asks that you forgive his tardiness. He said "Didn't JohnnyCat's OTJ trial start months ago?!?" and I had to explain what happened :roll:. Donny was a huge fan of The Microdose for a while too, so he understands. He says he'll fly Johnny to all the parties whenever he wants.

Janice I wanted to add my congratulations to you and Brian for working so hard to get Johnny OTJ. After several attempts you kept hanging in until Johnny 'got it.'

I didn't realize the full story behind the jumping and how he lost that ability until recently . Now that I know more, it makes me so happy that you filmed him and it could be included in his party video today.

Enjoy this new chapter in Johnny's diabetic adventure... freedom from schedules and freedom from the shots. Yeah! And you are always FDMB family and are welcome in every condo... all doors are open for you and Johnny.

It was a delight to work on your video. :-D

I tried to pull up the video yesterday but the computer wasn't working at the boat. Congrats to Johnny and both of you for sticking with it and getting the job done. I hope that Johnny enjoys the life at the falls and perhaps we will hear stories about jumping competitions from there.
