Jezebel and Debie what a happy day for you! Great job getting off the insulin and no more shots. It always makes my day to see another kitty go OTJ. You now have freedom from schedules and worrying about doses. Stay around and visit as much as you can, we'd love to hear how Jezebel is doing.

Hi Jezebel! I've been working on the menu for your party tonight. Hope you'll enjoy the food:

Appetizer: Florida Shrimp and Scallop Salad on a bed of field greens.
Entrees: Rosemary Chicken with Florida orange zest; Barbequed Turkey burgers
Dessert: The chef's famous catmint parfaits with fresh catmint from his kitchen garden.

Chef Stu (I'll be there early with the kitchen crew.)

On a more serious note:

Jez and I want to thank everyone that has encouraged us, gave us support, and held our Paws when it was needed most! Without you all - I would have been so confused and lost - not understanding what needed to be done and why. I found you guys the same day I received the diagnosis...and started reading reading reading. The resources and links you provide are outstanding!

Your patience with my panic moments was greatly needed and appreciated. I read the "Dear Mom" letter many times...
You guys were ALWAYS there for us. Your guidance along every step of this journey was what got Jez and I to this point.

I encourage all newbies and not so newbies to listen to the advice the board members give you - even when you are in panic mode! Breathe! Jez never would have made it to OTJ without you all!

Jez and I will post updates periodically and will be watching others progress along this sugar land path to the Falls!

You can visit anytime to update on how Jezebel is doing! Many OTJ kitties come by after one month for an update, it is encouraged that you do random spot check here and there...some bean do once a week up to a few times a month... then slowly you're cured from poky poky syndrome! :lol:
Caturdays are great days for all kitties to come out and visit!

naw seriously, when ever you want to - you'll always be welcomed here!
