You have just blessed my heart. I am Jan, and lost Tina -- I absolutely love being called Tina, she is so with me, that I even get her name

I was going to tell you earlier that I have a kitty, Al, who could be Haley's twin brother. Unlike sweet Haley, he's the craziest, and a "bad" kitty, lol! I love him to pieces - he knocks things off counters and tables, like it's a big game. He is almost 14, and has become so, so sweet lately.

Hi, "Jan". Lol, I was afraid I was going to make that mistake. The names, here, always confuse me. I'm glad it made you happy and blessed your heart, though!

Oh! The orange and whites are my favorite! Al must be beautiful, too! How funny to have to keep up with his cute antics I'm sure you love him to pieces! Awwwe, I'm sure you love that sweetness!

When I was 5, my Mom let me adopt this beautiful orange and white kitten. The Mom was an alley cat. I named her Ginger after Ginger from Gilligan's Island because I thought she was so pretty. Since then, I've always had at least one or two orange and whites. I have two now. Buddy is my other. He's 10. I also have Valentino with the same kind of markings but he's tan and white. Close enough I adopted him on my birthday. I wanted a senior. He was 10 yrs old. When I met him at the shelter, he practically licked my face off! It was a done deal. He's 15 now. He has irritable bowel disease, and hyperthyroidism. I'm not sure if he still has pancreatitis. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow just for a mid year checkup. He's soooo skinny and is always hungry. Poor guy. I also have Jax. I wasn't in the market for another kitty but he begged me sooooo hard to take him home. I torture myself and visit the shelter when I shouldn't! He's a tabby, which aren't my favorite but he has such a funny and cute personality! He makes me laugh.

Yes, he does. it’s the Twist a Dose kind. I twist the tube to the right dosage. I wipe the inside of his ear with alcohol on a cotton ball and then put the medicine, right from the tube, on the inside of his ear and rub it in, folding his ear, gently. He takes it twice a day.

He also gets a B12 shot once a week.

Shirley, I can tell you are just like me about cats! I have lots of tabby cats though … they’re actually some of my sweetest cats…. like Darcy. I do have a big beautiful orange tabby though - a boy - and another smaller orange tabby with white boots - she thinks she’s the boss.

Hi, Suzanne. Yes, I love them. I’m even a volunteer Cat Adoption Counselor for my town rescue. It not that I don’t like tabbies, it’s just that they look soooo much alike and there are so many of them. I, purposely, wanted Jax, though. The shelter said he had a heart murmur and I thought he’d have a hard time getting adopted. I wasn’t looking to adopt a kitty. But I went to the shelter to look at them anyway. I fell in love with this little guy but I had to be in a waiting list. Someone was to pick him up that night. It was 5:30 PM and they were to come at 7 PM. I waited until seven at the shelter for them to come. I told them if they’re not there by 7 o’clock in one second, he’s mine, lol. Fortunately, they never came. So that’s how I got to adopt them him. Just recently when I brought him to the vet, I was told me he doesn’t have a heart murmur. Well, yay!

Your kitties sound precious. My daughter has three siblings. One all black, one all grey, and one brown tabby. The tabby is a funny little man. She and the kitties lived with me for a while so I got to see his antics. My daughter tells me about the funny things he fors and he just cracks me up.

Well, all kitties are precious. I’m so glad we’re all here to help them!
