Good Morning L&L!
Thanks Paula @Love-Paula aka Woodsywife for the thoughts this morning. March 7th was 1yr since my baby Doodles went to the bridge. We miss him so much everyday. I'm always lurking on your precious FD babies and say prayers every night for you all.

My little man Leo just turned 15 months. He's been battling juvenile gingivitis/ stomatitis since he was 5 months old. We've been to the dental specialist twice and his last visit in January resulted in 8 extractions. Unfortunately just 5 months later he went back yesterday because his gums/ mouth were inflamed/ red where the remaining teeth were and it spread to the back top of his mouth. We decided to go ahead with FME yesterday (full mouth extractions) as it's the only possible cure and a better chance if we just nip it now.
They kept him over night and might be keeping him again tonight. They are currently tube feeding him but will start offering him food and see how he does. I'll be taking his freeze dried raw to them today but he may have to be on canned for a bit. He has poop issues on anything but the freeze dried raw so hoping he can get back on his food quickly. In the meantime S. Boulardi will help keep his stool under control hopefully. I'm also wondering if it might be best to give him canned in order to avoid permanent food aversion to the FD raw since his mouth will be tender for a week or 2....any opinions would be welcome.
Here are a few pics of the cutie-patootie head...weighing in at 15.5lbs! He's a sweet little boy that is very vocal. Civie Moo still hisses at him here and there but generally they co-exist. Leo however just LOVES her....that's part of the problem
