We took Finley glamping this weekend and I though I would share some pics, he’s so much fun except in the car, omg he would not stop meowing he was so stressed until we got to where we went.

I only wish, heck his vet is only 5 minutes from my house
I’m trying to see what we can do to keep him calmer cause we want to take him with us when we go places, he was so exhausted when we got home from stress, never seen anything like it

Have you tried Rescue Remedy or Feliway? Some people also use Gabapentin when traveling.

I tried Feliway haven’t tried Rescue remedy

I'm glad you can take him with you. I hope you can find a way to help him be calmer in the car. Most of my cats have always meowed a lot in the car and gotten stressed out.

Oh that is so great! I would love to take Bella on trips like that, but she hates the leash and harness. Finley is beautiful!

Oh he is and when he’s in his backpack he has on a harnesses that is attached 2 places in the backpack

I would be so paranoid about parasites -- ticks most of all. I imagine you've got him treated or whatever though

That's awesome! I'm looking into the backpacks and teaching my cat to walk on the leash as well. Otherwise I'll never be able to get away from the home. This looks promising, except I don't have a camper yet. May have to practice in the tent out back.

We don’t have a camper either we did Airbnb, I absolutely love this backpack it has plenty of ventilation and we can have it open in back or top and he can’t get out
