Oscar

Hi Dave,

It looks like Oscar needs more insulin. But it would be good to get more tests to ascertain that he isn't dropping low. Would it be possible to get at least one test before bed every night? And one test between 4 to 6 hours of giving insulin in the AM?

I don't know if you have been able to read up on the dosing methods we follow here:
Dosing Methods: Start Low, Go Slow (SLGS) & Tight Regulation (TR)

Since you are feeding raw, you could follow TR and increase Oscar's dose sooner. It's possible that he is stuck in higher numbers due to holding the dose too long. TR would enable you to take him to a good dose soon and break through into better numbers.

Welcome. To add to what Bhooma said cats often have lower BG at night do some tests after pmps are helpful. If dropping lower at night he might bounce and be high in the morning. Right now it appears he needs more juice as Bhooma said.
