Thanks for the reply, I'm not trying to be awkward here, but being that the advice we offer is data driven the info you have kindly given above is too vague for me to be able to help you.
All I can say is that what we do know about cats , and this has also been my experience, is that their insulin needs change over time, they can sometimes need more insulin and other times they need less, I would say that it is the norm for cats in the sort of numbers you are quoting to go up and down in dose.
I can't tell from the info you have given me if your kitty is on too much insulin, or not enough, I wish I could, but I just can't tell. I would however stand a better chance of helping you if you would share your numbers, as the majority of us do by using the ss that you can find in
this link. I don't expect you to put all the numbers in, perhaps the last month, since that drop in September say. If setting the ss up is problematic for you, there are some members who will happily set it up for you, please just let us know.
Whatever numbers you have, we are not here to judge about how often you test, we are all about the kitties.
