Hi Bron, I did not know that I could feed him and then inject him immediately. Last night he woke me at 3 am and he wanted something to eat. I suppose a Chemist would have a syringe, but which one should I get??? I am going on Tuesday morning.
So far no luck with a urine sample. Toby sits on the rim of the hole he digs and there is no way to get in. However, I will get some suitable gravel when I get a chance. Maybe the VET could bring some on Wednesday. Thanks again for all your help. Helga. Toby is due for his injection.

You want the BD Ultra-Fine II syringes of 0.3 ml capacity (not the 0.5ml or 1ml capacity). You can buy them online here:

You could ask the vet be able to get a sterile sample from Toby's bladder? Since a free catch is difficult? That would also ensure a sterile sample.
