Hi All,

Wish I had found this community sooner. My first diabetic kitty, Godiva (16 yr old male) passed about 2 weeks ago from complications that followed him having a DKA episode (when ketones form in urine due to glucose being too high for period of time).
I feel lost and this home is empty without him. Due to his diabetes I have Prozinc insulin, many new syringe needles, and other diabetic cat supplies that I would like to gift to someone in need to help support their fur baby through this awful disease.
Is there a way to connect with individuals to do this or does anyone know of a shelter/rescue that supports diabetic cats? Thanks!
