Hello, I wish I was here with good news but I am at a loss. I have a newly diagnosed kitty who also has lung problems (asthma possibly). The blood work came back with a fructosamine level around 300. My life has no stability and am not able to provide the care needed for a diabetic/possibly asthmatic kitty. After learning about diet and switching from dry kibble to raw (Furry Foodie) she's doing much better (gaining weight back and energy, not urinating as much). But reading what people do in order to try to keep their kitties going I know that it is not possible to maintain a schedule to properly care for her. I've spoken to multiple cat owners I know and rescues and no one wants to deal with her ailments. I have multiple cats and this has been quite a challenge. I am in the process of rehoming one of the other ones to the previous owner now that she has her own place and can have cats. Is there any chance that someone would be able to care for her? I think she has a real chance with someone who can devote the care needed who is healthy and has the resources. I'm glad I found this board and hope you are all well. I appreciate the care you are able to provide to your cats.
