Hello all. Murphy and I would like to say HNY to all first of all. It's been a while since we've been on the board. Murphy appears to have something happening to her healthwise, although I am not sure until I see Dr. Renee on Thursday. I've seen one or two areas where one of the cat's has vomited, and I think it's probably her. I am seeing her licking her lips as well. I started the Metoclopromide again to help the nausea. She doesn't appear to be in diabetes again, her BG is normal, 116 a few hours ago. But, does anyone know if you can have pancreatitis without being diabetic?
Otherwise, we are looking at the fact that she may have developed CRF. She drinks quite a bit, and her urine puddles are about the size of hamburger patties.
Any thoughts?
She's just not been the same since I was hospitalized for two months. I came home and she had so much muscle wasting I couldn't believe it. Her back is so highly arched now -- that I cannot tell if she took a fall trying to get at Oscie's food while I was away, or if the muscle wasting is related to an arthritic condition.
This really scares me. She's been such a bubble baby for so many years. I'm starting to see a real turn of events in her health.
