HI all. Just a little weekly update on my girl. She is doing so well, it's unbelievable. It's been 16 days since we started the Vetri-DMG, and it does as it says, an amino acid that regulates blood glucose levels. She's stabilizing out I think. And, it makes her feel so much better, but of course, this is the baby with such a suppressed immune system. She's playing, jumping, (I think she's even laughing). Her fur has almost all come back in from being sick earlier, and she just looks shiny and healthy, nice glossy coat. I'm convinced the DMG is doing something fantastic with her. :)

She does have nausea about an hour before eating, but I'm giving her a 1/4 pepcid at that time, other than that, couldn't be better.

ms.murphy is such a wonderful survivor story...i sure hope you'll stick around and share what you've learned when some kitty arrives in a situation like ms.murphy's. you have been an amazing mamabean!

So often lately the stories posted here have sad endings. This is such a positive story hopefully people will read it and realize there are recovery stories! A little over a year ago my Nomad was DKA and on the brink of death but recovered. All of the kitties in my household are saying (((((:Hurrah))))) Murphy!

PS Can any other give some info. on this amino acid? Is it prescription or can it be ordered online someplace?

I was bound and determined that Murphy was not going to leave this world yet, and honestly, her vet was too, I am sure of it. She was in terrific hands, and her vet - is an angel in disguise. So, Murphy is here and she's getting better all the time!!!

I think some of you have seen the photographs of how sick she was. Since April of last year, she has fought 5 bouts of MRSA, and that stinking d. cati mite - which is terribly difficult to get rid of - all from an unDx'd diabetes from her old vet. I didn't want to tell my vet this, but I decided about a month ago, that I was absolutely not going to give Murphy ANY more of that Ivermectin (the active ingredient in Heartguard). Basically, I had to say to myself, would I inject myself with a pesticide? Hell no! And, so, I knew what the alternative was. DMG! Actually, I started taking DMG last week and I cannot believe how well it makes me feel. Mental acuity, super immune booster, energy, fatigue, and it helps to regulate BG, which is absolutely 100% is doing for her. Her coat is even shinier. She is jumping on the sofa, jumping on my bed, just doing terrific. I felt that the Ivermectin was just a poison I was injecting. So, we started the Vetri-DMG liquid .50 ML twice per day. You load for 14 days, then back down to .25 ML per day. I'm still giving her .25 ML twice per day because she is so compromised, but I did notice that as we came off the .50 ML, her BG was going into the 90s. It is a natural amino acid, with nothing in it, nothing at all. I purchase mine from 1800petmeds.com, and it comes in a bottle, right now, I think that it's 11.99, but there is a $5.00 coupon for any order, so I just keep ordering it. And, it's here in 2 days. I am honest as could be, I believe the DMG is what is making her turn around. It is supporting a reckless immune system, and she is getting better every single day. You would not believe how she looks today. I'll take a photograph and post it tonight.

Vetri-DMG is non-prescription, and with me, because of her health, I research EVERY SINGLE THING before I even consider it. And, I called Vetri-Science and spoke to a gal by the name of Heather who was so helpful - oh not just one phone call, but they want progress reports 14 days 28 days after. And, since they saw her photographs, they have asked me to write her testimonial to put on their web. There are several well-known universities throughout the country who have done trials on this, and I actually was privy to read the research that is only offered to veterinarians, because my vet wanted to review it. They use it for cancer, tumors, inflammation, immune support, pancreatitis, and neuropathy, there is a whole host of other things, but those are some of the main ones that popped out at me. I tell you - I am a real sceptic, but it is supported by FDA and has excellent reviews.

Humans take it, so I started to take it! And, I have more energy, I just feel terrific. Let me see if I have the Vetri-DMG information for consumers at home. If I do, I will post it.

Here is the information on DMG for animals and DMG for humans. Also, a photo from July of Murphy with the d. cati mite and MRSA and then last week.

I am going to try this product with my diabetic kitty nomad and my twenty year old cat. I will let you know how they do. I agree with you on the oral pesticides; if you live in a warm climate you have to use a topical flea product and they may accidentally ingest some. But why purposely put in your pet's blood stream? You and Ms. Muirphy have a good thanks giving. Jan and »^^«

Heather from Vetri-Science did not discuss the effects on a pussy cat with hypoglycemia, just Murphy and her hyperglycemia. So, if you do have a kitty with hypo, I would be sure to contact her first. But, like I said, it's truly amazing stuff. I can tell you personally, that from me taking it for just one week, I feel so much better.
