I was bound and determined that Murphy was not going to leave this world yet, and honestly, her vet was too, I am sure of it. She was in terrific hands, and her vet - is an angel in disguise. So, Murphy is here and she's getting better all the time!!!
I think some of you have seen the photographs of how sick she was. Since April of last year, she has fought 5 bouts of MRSA, and that stinking d. cati mite - which is terribly difficult to get rid of - all from an unDx'd diabetes from her old vet. I didn't want to tell my vet this, but I decided about a month ago, that I was absolutely not going to give Murphy ANY more of that Ivermectin (the active ingredient in Heartguard). Basically, I had to say to myself, would I inject myself with a pesticide? Hell no! And, so, I knew what the alternative was. DMG!
