Well, last week, she had an enema, which took her about a day to get over. I heard her straining and a little whine this p.m. at the litter box trying to poo, so as much as I hate to say it, I think she's got a GI issue and constipation. I have been using lactulose, but I'm wondering if her diet is going to need to be switched a little. I was using the pure pysllium husk, but it is bulk forming, and the miralax just didn't do the trick. The psyllium doesn't put water into the gut (osmotic). Any ideas? I would like to find a good high protein, low carb, yet high fiber diet, but i'm thinking there isn't such a thing out there. Help -- before we end up with another problem.
