We did it! Missy started insulin tonight. She barely felt the shot but she did mind me pulling up her hair/skin a bit but hey, my hands still intact! anf hopefully she'll do great again.
I started with only .75u and looking forward to test her BG's later on.
Hopefully all I've learn from my Micio's diabetes in over 13 months will make it easier for my Missy now.

Missy was ok up 'till late last year but her numbers started going up fast in the last month coincidentally after a visit with a IM which confirmed she has pancreatitis and stage 1 CKD, along with IBD since she was little. She has been on a raw meat diet for more than 11 yrs also so, unfurtunately, diabetes came from other reasons. We're also trying to slowly remove Budesonide, we're at 0.075ml daily now. I really hope is "just" diabetes and not acromegaly too...
