MISSY + Simone&MICIO (GA)
Member Since 2021
Exactly 15 years ago, the cutest tiny furball was presented to me by a vet and literally jumped into my arms and since she has been a very important part of my life with a unique character, plenty of attitude and unconditional love. Despite her health issues that started at a very young age, Missy maintained her personality as the Princess of the house...."You may look at me, just don't touch me!"
Prissy Missy, that was it!
When Micio came along, less then a year after Missy, the real journey began and, although she always played precious and bossy with him too, only when he passed in January 2023 we realized how much she loved him...ever since, she secluded herself in the bedroom 24/7 refusing to hang around in all of the places she loved the most along with Micio. Quickly developed diabetes, tested positive for Acromegaly and most likely a sort of tumor have grown on her sinus, along with many other health issies that made her life pretty miserable.
Finally, I had to make the hardest call, once again...we helped Missy crossing the rainbow bridge last Thursday, 21 December in the most comfortable way possible.
My beautiful Missy is gone too now and I really hope that she's with all of my fur babies.
The pain is unreal and impossible to describe but I'm sure that most of you had experience it before, in a way or another...
I spent the last 15+ years, 24/7 dedicating body and soul to these 2 kiddos, sacrificing family, friends and my own self and can't even begin to think where to start without them...
But, if I could, I would start all over again, no doubt.
A big THANK YOU to all of you that promptly helped me and Missy when in need. A special thanks to @Diane Tyler's Mom, @Suzanne & Darcy, @tiffmaxee, @Wendy&Neko, @Bron and Sheba (GA), @Bandit's Mom and many others that helped me through this journey.
Please hug your babies as much as you can, every day and every moment you can just like if it was the last one...you won't regret it, I promise you that.
'Till we meet again..."
