Hi Guys,
Fustrating days continue with Compound Pharmacy. So I need help from fellow members who are using or ordered cabergoline.
@Bronx's dad @saltycat @Adrian and Chino
The first two months compound pharmacy gave dose in pre-filled syringes. Then they asked if ok to give in bottle, since I am comfortable measuring since I was measuring insulin. No biggy was happy to do so. Well had problem with bottle see above link to previous post. Bottle was empty, pharmacist said since such a small amount sticks to sides of bottle and drys out, can't give me more than a month even though prescription is two month amount as compounded med are only good for one month (@saltycat can you check the expiry on your bottle please, not sure I believe them as my expiry said 6 months, they said was default and forgot to update).
So they ran another batch, put it in large syringe, to get the dose out I need there is an attachment and I need to extract the amount from the large syringe to a smaller one. While doing this of course you lose some of the med, as it leaks out, hands were covered. See picture below
I told pharmacist (not the one I was originally dealing with), that I didn't understand as the others I knew on this site were able to get in bottle with no issues. He said that was not possible, however if I gave him the name of their compound pharmacy he would be happy to follow-up and see how they are compounding it.
What I would need if possible, is a picture of the med / bottle, and name and coordinate of your compound pharmacy please. PM me with the info
Needless to say I am at my witts end. Thanks
