glad you're back!

What do you think about increasing Jake's dose a little bit, to 1.75? He's had lots of time on 1.5 and is still mostly pink and red, with nadirs in high yellow.

Any way to keep that sneaky kitty inside at night so you can be sure he's not getting fed anything HC?

I think Libby is right. It looks like Jake may benefit from a dosecrease.

I keep the little bugger in! My brother will let him out, mostly because he's not paying attention/lazy. I come in and check on him until I go to bed, one morning when I woke up to give him his test I found him outside! Which means my friggin' brother let him out after I went to bed at like, midnight. My brother is sort of an idiot! I would prefer to have Jake in my house (detached from the main house) but my three kitties are indoors, younger and stronger and I didn't feel it was fair to Jake to get beat up in a place he doesn't understand. So he lives in the main house, when I'm home I check on him every 2/3 hours give him snacks, pet him clean his box. I also let him out and check on him throughout the day making sure he's in front... then taking him in after a couple hours so he doesn't get spoiled. :D

But my family just lets him out 'cos he makes stinky poop... they hope he'll do it outside. However he always waits till he gets back inside before he poops so... what's the point?

BAH!

I was also thinking of upping his dose too... however my vet wants to do a fructosamine test and asked that I keep him at that dose for at least three weeks so she can get the average BG levels. I want to try to work with her so maybe she'll friggin' respond faster.
