The plastic wafer rattling around above the rubber stopper is normal with these Levemir pens. It just means you aren't using the dosing mechanism with pen needles. If you were dialing the dose, the mechanism would hold the wafer against the stopper. But doesn't seem to hurt anything the way it is. My Levemir pens sometimes do that and it's not been a problem.Yes was going do that today. Should I use a new one ???
