Levemir pen issue?

So a weird floaty thing appeared in my pen this evening. Looks like a piece broke off inside. Anyone ever seen this before and is my pen still good?

Are you sure it's not an air bubble? Do you shoot excess insulin back into pen?

If you have another pen, I would use that (keep this yet) until others weigh in.

Send the picture to Marks and see what they say. If it's faulty, they might send you another.
 
Yes was going do that today. Should I use a new one ???
The plastic wafer rattling around above the rubber stopper is normal with these Levemir pens. It just means you aren't using the dosing mechanism with pen needles. If you were dialing the dose, the mechanism would hold the wafer against the stopper. But doesn't seem to hurt anything the way it is. My Levemir pens sometimes do that and it's not been a problem.

Omg. Thank you!! . Thought so as it doesn’t seem to come in contact w the actual insulin and marks didnt respond yet. Thanks for the Info:bighug:
