I just purchases another vial of Levemir from Walgreens last week. it is less expensive per unit than the pens. For my high-dose MurrFee, using up a 10 ml vial before the insulin goes bad is not a concernI went to Costco and they didn't have the Levemir vials. They told me they don't make them anymore because people are using pens.
According to their website, they are still making the vials. I think the truth may be that Costco is not stocking the vials because most people use the pens.I went to Costco and they didn't have the Levemir vials. They told me they don't make them anymore because people are using pens.
Interesting. I didn't know that. The larger vials are NOT available in Canada. You can only get the pen vials of Levemir here.
