So - the vet had me purchase Novolin NPH yesterday for my cat, and today, I'm being told she should be on Lantus. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any resources to get this medication for under $100, or of a place where I could donate my Novolin NPH (and possibly get a few doses of lantus in exchange?)
I'm really up a creek financially after $400 in vet bills - and I'd really like to get my cat started on the right meds ASAP, especially if they've been shown to put the diabetes in remission (http://felinediabetes.com/glargine.htm)
Thanks for any advice - really new to this and want to get started on the right foot!
I live in the Seattle area, also.
