Lantus situation on back-up board

Sorry, but I miss the problem here. Helping another person is a good thing when the end result is helping some FD kitty.
 
Of course, I can't read the situation on the backup board nor can I post my comments there so I will post here.

I distinctly remember Sarah asking people if they needed Lantus and I distinctly remember her frustration when it appeared that nobody did. Good for her to find it a new home; shame on anybody trying to make her feel bad about it.

I have 5 pens sitting in my fridge - if this issue came about because a Lantus person desperately needs some insulin right now, I might be willing to send them a pen or two, despite the fact that I'm banned from the fund. However, unless this is an emergency situation, I"ll give my Lantus to DCIN for obvious (but unstated), reasons. Sounds to me like a big deal about nothing.

Sarah - you hang in there and don't let one person run you off from the fund. You've done good and you are appreciated.
 
I posted on the other board too and I agree w/ Gayle. What's the problem? It isn't as if the Lantus belonged to the board. You were asked to find someone who needed it and you did.
