Good Morning!
I am taking Kitty to my vet today to get her bloodwork rechecked. I have no idea what my expectations are from the vet visit, but I am hoping for some improvement in her kidney numbers. She still is isolating herself from the other kitties and I know she does not feel well. Yesterday her midshot preshot was 567- high again, and due to tid, this is actually a +8 reading. I gave fluids last night and her PM preshot was 365. There was some improvement this morning in her AM preshot-- 211, this might be positively influenced by the fluids. I am not sure what the future holds, but I want to take care of her and help give her the highest quality of life possible. She really is a trooper, so I will not be gloom and doom about her condition until I know more. My hopes are that the kidney values will improve and that the ptitis is her biggest problem at the present time.
Now to my little man, Chewy!
+90 107!!!
I keep hoping that he will dip into the greens, but for now I am happy with his progress. Obviously, I cannot shoot these numbers, but is it fair to assume that he can be diet controlled in the low 100s? Most of the cats that I have witnessed that have gone OTJ, have been in green numbers-- not low blues. Thoughts?
He feels so GOOD! He is running around and playing with the catnip mice--I can't believe his improvement in 5 weeks!
Wishing Everyone a Great Day from the Alley...............
