Dixie called this AM. Robert, her husband, is finally home - yea!! Jake is doing fine except for throwing up yesterday. She 's worrying the Levemir vial daily - it's been 56 days now. So far, so good. Next time she's buying the pens. All the other furballs (5 now) are fine too.
 
Tell Dixie not to give up on the vial of Levemir too fast. Maggie was on Levemir and a vial would last over 4 months if stored properly. I replaced it only when her numbers started to go up. I think Lantus is more fragile than Lev.
 
That's what she's doing...hoping it will last a long time. i'll pass the word along to her about your 4 months. She watching for it to change before replacing it.
