Last night Jake was PMPS 304 and then +5 142 and then AMPS 112. I syringe fed him a snack at the +5
I still gave him the typical 1.5 dose - and left him with plenty of food out including homemade chicken which is his favorite. I also syringe fed him 3/4 can instead of the typical 1/2 can.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying that he doesn't go too low. I have no way to check him before 6 pm tonight.

Well.....Lydia this is great news for Jake. Thank goodness for no black AMPS number right? From Jake's SS it appears that he likes to bounce after seeing the blues so don't be surprised if he goes up again after this. I know in the past you would change up his dose based on his PS BG's, so I am glad you stuck with this dose. I think that will really make a difference in regulating Jake. Let's see how his PMPS numbers are and go from there.
Have a good day!!

That's a very pretty AMPS. Maybe he'll decide he's tired of bouncing this time.

I agree, though, with everyone who has been saying stick with the consistent dose until it is clear that dose has settled in and needs changing. Otherwise, it is like trying to read tumbling dice!

I agree with all of you and that is why I stuck with the 1.5. If he could stay in the 100-150 range, I would be so happy. All of this bouncing makes me so worried.
