Yes, it is official - Jake is off the juice. What nice things to wake up to this morning - Jake's last trial BG test and the wonderful congratulatory messages from you already posted on this site. With not many people in my life understanding my quest to treat Jake, mostly because of his age (18), your care, concern, and compassion means so much!! Because Jake had been through so much with the DKA and a less than competent and ethical vet, I would have settled for him being regulated. But with your help and guidance, we got him to where he is today - OTJ! Jake is the healthiest he has been in a long time. We will be celebrating Jake's success today and everyday. The civvies (Boomer and Emma) even know that Jake is well. Thank you again for always being there - and I have no plans of ever leaving this group. Helping each other help our beloved furkids is what it is all about. Always choose life, and expect a miracle!

Jake, this is fantastic & what a guy at 18. You are definitely someone the rest of us fur-balls should emulate and look up to. We are so happy for you, a great big CONGRATULATIONS! and many more years of good health and happiness!
