I've never seen anything like that. Could you call your vet (if they are open) to see if they can advise you?

I'll get mine and take a pic mine does have a red cap but it was very easy to take off -- it looks like the syringe has an orange top though - is this a U-100 syringe? Hang on a minute while I get the insulin

I've had some horse meds in the past that had a metal covering and the center just pried up. They didn't look quite like that though..

Mine came with an aluminum ring around the bottle but the middle was a rubber center for you to draw the insulin from.
Yes, your right Bobbie - there should be a ring that you just pull off - maybe the ring broke off of your vial - but just so you realize that you need to use a conversion to use the U-100 syringes

OK. Good. Yes, PZI can be U100 so your needles are okay. So now, what dose? And are you comfortable drawing up the dose to the right line?
Yes, I am he had diabetes about 3 years ago. I got him in remission within a month and now it came back... :(
I just wanna get this bottle open without wrecking it! lol

Got it! OK this is really silly, All I did was lift the middle circle with my thumb nail!:banghead:
