That my relion prime does not work.No matter how much blood i use it does not give me a reading.i even poked myself! What am i missing here?

Dit it work before?
Are you first inserting the test strips and waiting until the meter is ready to accept blood?
Also, note that if yo wait too long the meter will turn itself off and in that case yo have to pull out the strip and reinst to turn the meter back on.
Are yo using the correct test strips?
Does anything show on screen?

My prime did this too but it was from dropping it too many times. It would continue to show that it was waiting for blood. I wasted about 10 strips between me and my cat. I had to buy a new one.

:banghead: I know they won't take back a diabetic product if it doesn't meet with your approval but this is a defective product that just needs to be returned to the manufacturer. It's not so much a return as an exchange for a working meter.

Diabetic things cannot be returned.
I fought with Walmart on my first meter. Bought the wrong meter and test strips. Cashier had told us if it was un-opened we could return it. After calling a couple stores, they all said no returns on diabetic things. I contacted Corporate. The decision is left up to the General Manager of each store. So you could try to speak with them and then like Larry said, if it's defective they should exchange it. It's not like you're actually trying to return it, but you would like one that works ;)

Can you take back and ask the pharmacy staff to show you how to properly use it?

ETA: Apologies, I didn't mean to imply you can't figure out how to use but sometimes if someone with experience shows you how to insert the strips, or maybe check the battery, etc the simplest things we often don't pay attention to- it helps.:) I used Prime for long time but because it was my first meter ever I had some troubles using it in the beginning.
