I just bought it today. This is my first day of checking at home. I even poked myself and mage sure i was gushing. Nothing it just shuts off.gonna call #on backDit it work before?
Are you first inserting the test strips and waiting until the meter is ready to accept blood?
Also, note that if yo wait too long the meter will turn itself off and in that case yo have to pull out the strip and reinst to turn the meter back on.
Are yo using the correct test strips?
Does anything show on screen?
Diabetic things cannot be returned. If you just bought it, can't you just take it back to the store and get another meter?
I know they won't take back a diabetic product if it doesn't meet with your approval but this is a defective product that just needs to be returned to the manufacturer. It's not so much a return as an exchange for a working meter.I fought with Walmart on my first meter. Bought the wrong meter and test strips. Cashier had told us if it was un-opened we could return it. After calling a couple stores, they all said no returns on diabetic things. I contacted Corporate. The decision is left up to the General Manager of each store. So you could try to speak with them and then like Larry said, if it's defective they should exchange it. It's not like you're actually trying to return it, but you would like one that worksDiabetic things cannot be returned.
Can you take back and ask the pharmacy staff to show you how to properly use it?Diabetic things cannot be returned.
