Do any of you guys use iphone apps to manage your cat's diabetes? I am going to be installing some and checking them out.

I have a notebook and will start a spreadsheet, track a curve for him etc. Just wondering if there are any experiences with the apps. I'm new to the smartphone world and just use it for email mainly right now.

Thanks.

The lite version of Documents allows you to easily download and upload to Google docs. However, I find the screen too small to easily work with. Instead, I use a spreadsheet on my iPad. The larger screen makes reading/entering data a lot easier than on the smaller iPhones (iPod Touch screen).

I actually use an iPhone app-- called Bloodwise to track DoDo's sugars.

When I have time, I then post the data onto google documents.

I LOVE the iPhone app-- I can see a visual curve. Here is an example (see the pictures attached)

Very cool!

I read online some apps aren't available anymore. I haven't tried looking at this one yet to see if its available in Canada.

Thanks.

Wow they must have taken it down.

That is a shame.. no wonder why it has not been updated since early in the year or something.

It is a good app-- simple.. I didnt want a bunch of other misc. stuff in the app-- just a way to track the blood readings, graph it, and be able to email it if necessary

I download Glucose Buddy (free) and it is good. It has a graph function and and snapshot function that allows saving a screenshot for emailing. However, the diabetic apps really do not work for me since I have six diabetic cats. I use the Numbers spreadsheet and each kitty has thee own sheet n a monthly file.
