Hi, I am thinking of switching to these because they are less expensive than what I am using now..
Are these Ok for my Lantus? Syringes

I believe they are. I am using same thing but from BD. they were given to me for wheezer. these are the short needles which I like

I hear ya Nicole. worse comes to worse, there are the relion form walmart. I seem to have trouble with bubbles but we work around it

You can also try the GNP (Good Neighbor Pharmacy) brand of syringes also available at Hocks.com.

They tend to be cheaper -- and, are individually wrapped as well.

GNP Insulin Syringes: U-100/30 units, 31 Gauge, 5/16" (short needle) with half unit markings. You know, in case you need half-unit markings...

Any U100 insulin syringe will work with any U100 insulin :smile: You just want the 3/10 cc ones with half unit markings.

Those Monoject ones will work just fine :thumbup

Have you compared prices at AmericaDiabetesWholesale.com? I've found that insulin syringes cost less there. Here's a Monoject 3/10cc 30 gauge 5/16 inch with half unit markings for $14.89: http://www.americandiabeteswholesale.co ... 291_88.htm (the same ones are $17.49 "on sale" at Hocks.com)

An even better deal is to buy a case of 3 Monoject 3/10cc 30 gauge 5/16 inch with half unit markings for $37.97 at http://www.americandiabeteswholesale.co ... 351_88.htm Other brands are available in cases of 3 or 5, though you have to read the product description carefully. Some brands are 90 insulin syringes per box, not 100.

The difference between 30 gauge and 31 is really minute and a cat won't be able to tell the difference.

I'm using these now, Nicole, and I'm not a fan. I get really big bubbles that are impossible to get rid of. I actually just dose around them.
