Oh boy you poor thing !Thanks everyone for your help!
My dad came and trying to get my kitty used to him was a DISASTER. I mean, it would have been easier to find Atlantis than to get my kitty to cooperate with my dad. After 2 hours of attempting to get my dad trained, lots of screaming (on both sides ) (I have vowed that I will *never* again allow myself to hear my kitty scream in horror like he did and not run to save him) I made the executive decision to have my dad take the kitty to the vet twice a day for his reading, shot, and medication.
He was much more cooperative getting into the cage than ever let my dad handle him. And it took the stress off my dad, who basically was in a panic attack the entire two days we were gone over the idea of Mister getting a hypo event. (I told him he had never had one and to relax, but that didn't happen).
This was the worst experience of my life. I just hope the stress we inflicted on Mister didn't effect his health. :-/
Today he is resting in the sun and listening to the birds out back.

We just went away for two days and opted to board her at the vet. We would have been paranoid otherwise and would have had to get a pretty sitter to do the shot. Plus we have 6 other cats and would have been afraid of a stranger injecting the wrong cat or not finding her or something. Thanks everyone for your help!
