Increase or Reset? Please advice!

Dumpling's Spreadsheet

I'm posting for a friend. Her cat dumpling (9 years old, male) was diagnosed in September. He is 9 and is solely on low carb wet food now. They started the journey with SLGS and has switched to TR on 9/24.

Dumpling responded to insulin fairly well at first. He got some blue numbers here and there and he re-gained so much energy and is more like his usual self. On 9/28 Dumpling dropped unusually fast so my friend had to intervene with medium carb food. Since that day dumpling has remained high. There hasn't been any blue number for a week now.

So my friend wonders if she missed the magic number and if she should reset to 1.75u? Please advice!

We don’t believe in resetting here unless a cat was being increased too quickly which is not what is happening here. She just hasn’t hit the breakthrough dose yet. If following TR you hold a dose for 3 days (6 cycles) unless you see blue or green. If that happens you hold at least 10 cycles. Iwould increase to 2.75.
 
No need to intervene with MC at those numbers and at nadir ;)

Looks like glucose toxicity. I would increase, you don't want to sit too long on a dose that isn't working.
