My Corky was finally doing really well, then all of the sudden a RED BG appeared, inconsistent, ever since and now that is almost PMPS, he is on 85BG, from 217 at +7, so here I go again on what to do I do not think it will much higher to dose, and then again it might he suddenly switches, by spiraling either up or down, is there anything anyone suggest and if someone can please review his SS
:bighug::cat::cat: :banghead: again!! this I just edited @5:30 as I said when I ask for help is always either too soon or too late as predicted Corky's BG just hiked up to 264, without doing a darn thing, so please understand is not crying wolf, the inconsistency is what is driving be Bazookas , if someone could explain to me is it a curve from the Red Bg a few days ago, I do nothing but care for both my babies I stop everything for Corky's diabetes, live around his AMPS/PMPAS I do not leave my house more than 2 hours to test him and when I take more than that is because of a Dr's appointment even though they know the situation, I get home frantic to test him, I didn't get out of my house unless his BG was lower that 145 now I.ve learned to relax , so for those that may think I am BS, "crying Wolf" but no please understand if I reach out is out of fear of still doing the wrong thing or dosing wrong my babies are my family they are all I have I adore them

A cat loves to keep people on their toes. They rejoice in inconsistency.

He likely went a bit lower than the 125 last night – hence the pink AMPS.
I'd say stick with the current dose unless Suzanne tells you otherwise.

Hi Maria! I can’t believe that I am finally sitting down (with my cat Jane purring in my lap and a glass of Prosecco at my side) and having a chance to look at your post. Sorry for the delay. It was a long afternoon at the vet, although my Ginger is doing great and is “a little miracle” according to my vet. Now…. Slow down a bit and breathe! I think you were letting your anxiety for Corky get the best of you! Corky is safe, and that is our number one priority— so good job there! Corky likes to throw us a high number from time to time. It sometimes is a little spike from a low and sometimes we don’t know why. One thing that I really like about Corky is that he doesn’t stay up in the stratosphere for very long. I see no reason to change his dose right now. We need to just “weather the storms” unless we have a reason to suspect that he needs and increase or a reduction.

Good morning Suzanne, I am glad you had a chance to relax the wine sounded really good, glad to know Ginger and Jane are doing great, as always you give me hope and make me realize that Corky, as I see other members SS Corky is doing awesome, but as always to worry Corky and Coco are back to schedule on the pooping, since a couple of days ago I have been diminishing the Lactulose and Miralax, the drinking water, it was just that impulse day, I still syringe the water as well as in their food, Ketones are normal peeing great, thank you once again for your advise I enjoy when other members answer to my post and their suggestions are great, but I feel like I know you, really know you, when it comes to advise for Corky, and you have never been wrong any. I am learning to panic it's been a slow process for me. Hope you have a great weekend :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

It’s always nice to have different people come along and say hello on your thread, isn’t it? Good to know they care. I can tell you that @Red & Rover (GA) knows a lot! And I am always happy to see how you and Corky are doing.

What a flat yellow day today. We will see what this evening brings.
