I think Beau has gained some weight!

He doesn't feel quite as bony, his coat is very soft and when I weighed him using the "weigh myself then weigh me holding him" the difference was a half pound more than last time - so given that the scale is a half pound scale, I'd say that is at least a quarter pound. But he is still about 1.5 lbs less than he was for the last 2-1/2 years.

I guess I should get a postal scale or something...

Aw, he just rubbed his face on my hand - something he hasn't done in ages!

PS - he was 88 this am. Last test he was 75.
 
He is still finicky. We have a whole routine: I put the bowl down, he eats a few bites and then leaves, but sits in the hall. I move the dish to in front of him and he eats a few bites. Then he leaves and gets on the bed. I heat his food and bring it to the bed and he eats a few more bites.... but he does always eat his chicken treats. And I have been giving him a few kibbles (Evo) every day. No more than 12, but usually only about 6.
