Sandi & Chase in AZ
Member Since 2017
I posted this in the Intro Forum, but it was suggested that I re-post here in the main forum:
Thank you, again, to those who already welcomed me. I created a new account so that I could include my feline partner in crime's name to my Account name. I hope that makes sense. Anyway... I look forward to learning and sharing, here. I'm so grateful to have found this group.
Chase is a 10 yr 9 mth old orange Tabby who weighs about 14 1/2 pounds.
Diagnosis on 1/15/17, with his blood glucose level being 549.
I'm giving him 1 unit of Lantus approx. 12 hours apart.
I test at home using the Alpha Trak.
After 2 weeks of trying everything under the sun to get him to eat, I finally got it. He gets Purina DM mixed with some meat baby food, that goes through my Nutribullet and ends up being a thick paste.
