Ana & Frosty (GA)
Member Since 2018
It’s been almost a week since I lost Frosty. I still can’t help but come onto this site - it’s a habit I guess - and just look around. Although we had his diabetes relatively under control, I don’t really feel like there is much for me to contribute from that respect, since there are so many experts here who have been doing it longer than I did. I don’t really want to be one to repeat the same thing that’s already said either.
But I wanted to let you guys know that I am around, and if there is anything I can help with, feel free to tag me in the post. That way it will go straight to my email and I will know to come here.
I think the things I can help with the most is moral support for a member who is struggling with whatever it is they may be going through, and of course advice/support to those with a cat with Cushing’s. The former I am sure most of us here can handle, but if there’s a particularly difficult case, I am happy to try to offer some help or comforting words.
As for Cushing’s, if there are any cats with Cushing’s that pop up here, feel free to tag me. I also decided to keep the remaining Vetoryl that we have (I returned the unopened box). It’s good until 2020 and I figured that if a cat on here is started on Vetoryl before then, I can mail it to them, since it is expensive. If anyone’s dog is on Vetoryl for Cushing’s, I would be happy to send them the medication as well. I just don’t want it to go to waste.
I am posting this on this page because this is where I posted the most and I feel that we have the most “friends.”
Also, I mailed most of my remaining supplies to all who expressed interest yesterday, so it should be expected to arrive next week.
Thanks. And hope to talk to you all soon.
