Glargine dosing

We increased the Glargine dose from 3.5 units to 4 units and our cats BG went up . His BG readings at the 6 hour mark were 250ish with 3.5 units. This evening his BG was at 387 before shot which is higher than with 3.5 unit dose. What is going on?

Could you put his BG values in the spreadsheet? Preferably those for the last couple weeks, which will give us the data we need to help answer your question.

Since you are feeding dry food, you have to follow the Start Low Go Slow dosing method. We do increases by 0.25 units at a time.
