Do you have a blood ketone meter and are you getting urine ketone strips? I’m not familiar with a meter that reads those type of numbers. Here is a post on

It’s easiest to test his urine ketones. Most strips have you read at exactly 15 seconds so be sure you are top of that. You can just slip a large spoon under him when he squats to pee and stick the ketone stick in that. Don’t put it in urine that is already in contact with litter. It is smart to test his ketones.
