Frustrated with Shadow's numbers- don't know what to do

Hi,
I'm not really sure what to do with Shadow. I don't feel like he has any consistent pattern. Some days it seems like the insulin doesn't even touch him?? Other days it seems like at PMPS he's still dropping??

Any support or suggestions/insight is appreciated.

I am pretty much where you are, but have a dose increase planned for Wed PM so I can be here to monitor. Poe seems to just run flat to me. I'll be watching your thread to see replies cause I am curious as well.

Would you be able to get some more night time tests, so we can see if his dose needs adjusting?

I think he was looking pretty good at 3u but you dropped him back. I think you will have to work your way back up to that to see some progress. Dyana was right...it would be great if you could get a spot check every night.

Yes, I can start getting a nighttime. What would you suggest to get at night, +4 or +6? On the 3 units he was dropping too low- those numbers were with the Alpha Track. Or, do you mean just recently when he was on 3units once a day?

If you can get a test before you go to bed every night, that would be great. The closer you can test to Shadow's nadir, the better. I tend to like to get a +2. If the +2 is considerably lower than your pre-shot number, it's likely going to be an active cycle.

Right now, given the dose changes, I can't really tell when Shadow's onset and nadir occur. It might be useful if you could get a couple of days when you can get several spot checks so you can tell when these points in the cycle occur.
