Is anyone else seeing issues with their cats and Friskies? My cats have been eating much less of the varieties we usually use (and I am throwing a lot more out every day!). I took Chase to the vet this week because he was eating minimal amounts and he is usually a scavenger when everyone else is done. His blood sugars have been low (for him) for a little over a week, even with lower amounts of insulin. Was afraid he was getting pancreatitis again. They were unable to check for kidney infection as he had no urine in the bladder, but all his other test results were normal (which is great for a cat who has been diabetic for about 6 1/2 years). His blood sugars were in the 100s that afternoon, even with vet stress. The vet said to try him off insulin for a couple of days in case he is in remission. The bs that night was 87, then 280 the next a.m., 337 that night and 318 this morning so back on the juice (1 U instead of 1.25-1.5 at his normal 300s levels). Tonight he was 84. No insulin again. Depending on what he is tomorrow, maybe .5 U. Puzzling.
