Fluffy at vet really sick

Fluffy as worse this morning so we took hime to the vet. The vet took blood, urine, and she thinks it is Ketoacidosis. He is really dehydrated, weak, will not eat. She is really worried about him and why we can not get the numbers regulated. She says there maybe an unlined problem. She is keeping him and will give him iv's and do a fructomine test. Have not heard the results yet. She is also going to test for cancer. Last night his level were about 200 so I did not give insulin. This morning it was HI on the meter. I guess I messed up. Say a litle prayer for him.

Aww...I'm so sorry to hear that Fluffy is so sick. Sending prayers and healing thoughts your way.

Rose, I really so hope the fluffmeister gets well quickly. I'm so sorry you are both going thru this. Would it be ok to let the pzi'er's know? They will be very sad to hear but would want to know. We have grown quite fond of the fluff.
