You are getting to be a pro at this already! Please don't give any insulin until @Wendy&Neko has had a chance to look at the latest numbers and given some more advice on dosing. You don't want to pull an all-nighter (although it has happened). I can't hang around too much later as it is past 11pm here, but I'll stay to see the next number. Once you are through this we can get you all set up for the future.
Just something else to keep in mind
Kayro does not always work
Some of us use honey or molasses.
You can stop and see since it's not a dangerous number, but feed if it goes down again. When do you stop giving small amounts of food? Should I stop now and see where he goes now that his numbers are rising again?
Yes you can use maple syrup--if you are in dangerous numbers use whatever you need to in order to get kitty safe-I didn't know that. I read that you can also use maple syrup, is that true? I had been keeping that on hand until today when I bought the Karo at the store.

Can you shoot half an hour later tomorrow and still be on schedule? You may want to delay tonight's shot until two hours after the last feed. Numbers in the 100s are very safe and healing for the pancreas.
It looks like Sienne and Wendy are giving advice on this other thread

It would be best to keep all the information on the thread in the link I just posted above so that there is no confusion.

Oh my, congrats on catching your first hypo event it and bringing him up. I just got home from Philadelphia and saw this but it looks like you were in really good hands.
Starting on even 3 units seems a big dose as well. Most cats start off around 1 - 1.5 units. How large is your cat? If you start posting in Lantus the peeps there can help you with dosing. I am inclined to say that the dose needs to be reduced even further than 3.5. But lets' see what others say. When you post in Lantus, could you copy this thread and attach it?
Using the spread sheet will really help and if you need any help setting it up, just yell and some one can assist you.

Thanks Mary Ann, I just followed it over to Lantus.Updated information is in the Lantus forum
