Hi
I've just done my first ketone test this morning using Ket-Diastix strips. I managed to get the strip directly under the flow of urine as Crystal was in the garden at the time, have been waiting 5 days to catch her mid flow but she is very elusive. Waited the required time for both glucose test and ketone test. Glucose was at the very highest mark (very dark brown), nearly gave me heart failure until I calmed down and realised the the one to worry about was the Ketone test, which was neutral, thank goodness. As the test was done within about 10 minutes of her PSAM reading of 22. I supose this would be a normal glucose reading?
Thanks to everyone who takes time to answer us newbie's numerous questions and guide us in the right direction, it's much appreciated.
