So Lantus just didn't seem to be doing it for us. We are up to 17 U bid and I was getting no movement. We had made a little progress but not enough so I asked to try Levemir. And well, I finally got a blue number and on our first cycle with lev. Happy happy joy joy. Sorry I stopped posting as much but I was just so frustrated that nothing I was doing helped. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

As I replied in High Dose, it's great to see you finally see a glimmer of response. Here's hoping he latches on to the Lev and it starts to give him regular good numbers. Now that's arrived in blue territory, here's hoping he can learn to recognize he has arrived in the right zone.

As for not posting, you get to the point where you feel 'what's to post? gave more insulin, and got same no results?' It's bad enough to experience it; it's worse to actually type it. So yeah, I can totally relate.
It was suggested to me that weekly Caturday posts might be easier to manage, so you could always to that here, and there is no need to leave LL at all, just so you know that!

Pats and scratches to Feeburt, and maybe a special treat is in order as a reward for his nice blue on Lev!

Feeburt! Can we get a WUT WUT! Woohooo! I am sooooooooooooo glad the Lev is already making a difference! Now we wanna see how he feels.. watch and see if he doesn't start behaving differently, in a good way of course. Looks like he might have been fighting the lantus a bit.
