Can't wait to see what this day brings. He got his shot about 1/2 hour late. I totally ran out of syringes and had to stalk the walgreens pharmacist first thing this morning. i can't believe I did that. I keep getting in my own way. I'm hoping that 2.5U will have some good action. will check him around +4.

This is the hard part -- waiting. Let the dose increase settle. You'll be able to increase in a few more cycles. Patience is one of the hardest components of using Lantus.

Patience...definitely the hard part. it's much easier when he isn't walking around meowing because he feels bad. He seems better. It's been a few days since he has fallen asleep with his head resting on the water bowl. Cute but kind of sad. :-|
