I posted earlier this week what looked like Dusty having a reaction to some salmon but he continued to have issues breathing and eating and it turns out he had congestive heart failure. He was deteriorating quickly so we decided to help him cross the rainbow bridge. During his long 15 years he showed me love, devotion and loyalty. He used a few of his lives along the way like when he fell off my third story balcony but luckily ended up on the balcony just below mine. Then when he was diagnosed with diabetes, I was able to quickly get him into remission and he was with me another wonderful 6 years. It was so strange coming home with an empty carrier and even stranger when it was time to feed my civie Beni and Dusty. I was there holding him and telling him I loved him and just like that he was gone. Until we meet again my little Dusty.
