Is it true this is a dry food rarity that is suitable for FD cats? I still don't understand how to do the LC calculations nor would I trust my results, so I thought I'd save time by asking here first. If it is (suitable), I only would like to use it on my FD cat as a treat since I cannot afford to keep giving her freeze dried treats while she enviously watches her housemates eat regular dry as their pre-meal treat (while I prep their food so I don't get attacked). Thank you.

Don't worry, not going to replace her wet nor is it in addition to her wet, just as a small quantity treat bc price per oz., I can find it a heck of a lot cheaper than the freeze dried treats that are putting me in the poor house & she hasn't been too fond of them to boot. She has hiked up her 'BG winning streak', so to speak, so many times by breaking thru pet doors for the others' dry food or when I forgot to pick their dry food bowl back up after giving it to them as as a treat. I have 7 & if I don't give them something to tide them over while I prep their wet: I might become dinner myself, Lol. Thanks again.
 
@Diane Tyler's Mom @Sienne and Gabby (GA) Sorry to bother you again, but would you know if the Salmon flavor of this is LC as well? While I was waiting for my next paycheck, the only place that had it for less than retail was Amazon & now that I have the $: the Chicken flavor is sold out (maybe other FD parents thinking the same thing!). Thanks.
 
That's great! Thank you, guys, very kind! Will keep those sites for reference. Celia will be tickled to death to have it as a treat when I can't get her wet food prepared fast enough. It's getting so bad, I keep catching her trying to hunt down a stray piece of the other cats' kibble here & there on the floor while I'm trying to get her meal, meds, & testing/shot gear ready! :woot:
 
I have been feeding my cat this for treats. The formula is now changing and the price has tripled. Used to be 14 dollars, now it's almost 40 dollars. Been reading the new reviews and people are stating the new formula is making their cats sick. :( Will not be getting again.

Thanks, will research more then. I've had the opposite experience with the price. It was around $30 something (2 lbs) back in Spring when i first discovered it, now it's down to $11-23 on Amazon, depending whether they have their 25% off coupon posted or not. Shame there aren't more FD alternatives out there in these modern times.
